Does Acupuncture hurt?
Since the treatments do puncture the skin and stimulate the nerves, occasionally strong sensations could be felt. However, it should not be pain, and if the patient does feel pain, he/she should let the practitioner know so that they could adjust the needle(s).
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately we do not take insurance at this time.
How long does a treatment usually take?
Each treatment usually takes between 45 minutes to an hour, including the consultation and treatment.
What is Moxibustion?
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese therapy involving the burning of specific herbs either over the skin or on the needles in order to produce healing effects.
What is Cupping?
Cupping is a treatment method involving plastic or glass suction cups used with or without oils to improve circulation, and to draw oxins and heat from the body.
How should I prepare for my session?
Make sure you eat a small snack/meal before the session to prevent any weakness or fainting. You should make sure your skin is clean, and wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing,
Do you prescribe herbs?
Yes, herbal prescriptions can be obtained and will be recommended based on the patients need and at the practitioner's discretion.
What are my payment options?
Currently we accept cash or check. Unfortunately, we do not accept credit or debit at this time.
